What Freepik Is

Freepik is a website that offers a large collection of free and premium graphic resources. These resources include photos, vectors, illustrations, and PSD files. Designers, marketers, and anyone who needs visual content can find a lot of useful things here.

What You Can Find

You can find many types of graphics on Freepik. There are high quality photos for almost any topic you can think of. There are also vector graphics, which are great for logos and designs that need to be resized without losing quality. Illustrations add a unique touch to projects. PSD files are Photoshop documents that can be edited directly.

Free vs. Premium

Freepik has both free and premium options. The free section is very generous and offers thousands of resources that you can use without paying. However, to use the free resources, you usually need to give credit to the author. The premium subscription, called Freepik Premium, gives you access to even more exclusive content and allows you to use all resources without attribution. It also offers faster downloads and more features.

Who It Is For

Freepik is perfect for graphic designers, web designers, content creators, social media managers, small business owners, and students. If you need to create presentations, website graphics, social media posts, marketing materials, or any other visual content, Freepik can save you a lot of time and money.

How To Use It

Using Freepik is simple. You can go to their website, https://www.freepik.com/, and use the search bar to find what you need. You can type in keywords like “nature photo,” “business icon,” or “abstract background.” Once you find something you like, you can download it. If you are using free resources, make sure to check the license for attribution requirements. If you have a premium subscription, the download and usage are more flexible.

Cost

Many resources on Freepik are completely free to download and use, with the condition of giving credit. The Freepik Premium subscription offers different plans, usually on a monthly or yearly basis. The cost varies depending on the plan you choose, but it gives you access to a much larger library of content and removes the need for attribution.
