What is ColorZilla

ColorZilla is a useful website that offers free tools for working with colors. It helps you find, copy, and use colors from any website or image. It’s like having a color expert right in your web browser.

Main Features

The main tool is a color picker. You can point your mouse at any part of a webpage, and ColorZilla will show you the exact color code. It can pick colors from a single pixel or a larger area. It also has a color history so you can see colors you’ve picked before. Another helpful tool is the eyedropper, which lets you sample colors from anywhere on your screen, not just websites. You can also use it to get color codes in different formats like HEX, RGB, and HSL. It can even help you create color gradients, which are smooth blends of colors.

Who it Helps

ColorZilla is great for web designers, graphic designers, and anyone who works with colors online. If you’re building a website, making a logo, or editing photos, ColorZilla makes it easy to find the perfect colors. Even if you’re just curious about the color of something you see online, ColorZilla can help you find out.

How to Use It

ColorZilla is mostly used as a browser extension. You can add it to your Chrome or Firefox browser. Once installed, a small icon appears in your browser toolbar. Clicking this icon activates the color picking tools. You can then click on any part of a webpage to see its color. The website itself offers more advanced features and information about color tools.

Pricing

ColorZilla is completely free to use. All of its tools and features are available without any cost. This makes it a very accessible tool for everyone.
